Episode 09 - Sarah Jasat - Cycling in Sparkly Wellies
The daughter of a fish is a little fish.
That's the Brazilian equivalent to saying "the apple doesn't fall far from the tree," and today I will introduce you to the woman who made me this way. She's probably the only person who always thought I was going to be something special and all that intense energy was going to come in handy one day.
Though I didn't interview her for today's episode, she makes a cameo appearance at the very end, and let me tell you, it's worth waiting for!
There’s an exciting announcement in today’s episode, but you’ll have to listen to find out, or sign up for my newsletter!
Sarah Jasat is known on Instagram for her funny cycling videos, and she really caught my attention with her video talking about how cycling is just a normal everyday thing. Her humour is a social connector, and she makes people laugh about the most mundane situations. Through her videos and interactions, Sarah challenges the traditional perceptions of cycling, especially for women and minorities. Her playful approach to serious topics, like cycling during Ramadan or the environmental impact of transportation, invites audiences to rethink their perspectives. By infusing humor into these discussions, she makes them accessible and relatable, encouraging more people to join the conversation.
Sarah's humorous content has not only grown her following but also created a community of like-minded individuals who share her passion for cycling and sustainable living.
Her story is a powerful reminder that laughter is not just a reaction but a catalyst for change.
